Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is the world’s first ever Warner Bros. branded indoor theme park. Assuming the role of Project Lead and Executive Producer, Adam was privileged to produce the opening ceremony, design and build props, and develop a permanent show for the UAE’s premier entertainment destination.
The park is one of the largest indoor theme parks in the world; it brings to life fan-favorite DC Super Heroes like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, alongside beloved Animation characters from Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera like Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, and The Flintstones, all under one roof for the first time in the region.
Adam worked closely with WB, Miral Assets, and Think Well on the project for nine months, developing every aspect of the opening from supporting props to the design and style of the event. His scope included everything from the three-dimensional pop-up invitation, asset and prop design and build, the creation of the opening show, and ongoing permanent show content.
Adam and his team also worked with a leading influencer to storyboard and produce a social media film which has a current reach of over 3.5 million. After a 25min opening showcase in the main Plaza, using a bespoke stage, unique props, the existing WB assets and characters, guests were transported to six immersive lands, including Warner Bros. Plaza, DC Entertainment’s Metropolis and Gotham City, as well as Warner Bros. Animation’s Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, and Dynamite Gulch.
